Our Story

We Built an Ecosystem,
Not Just a Program

Too many people in our community had potential without a pathway.

Talented individuals who wanted to start businesses but didn't know where to begin. Job seekers with real skills but no professional network. Entrepreneurs with great ideas but no workspace, no legal guidance. Farmers and vendors with products to sell but no platform to reach customers.

The resources existed — but they were scattered, siloed, and out of reach for the people who needed them most. We decided to change that.

Nexus BCC was founded on the belief that real transformation happens when services work together — when the person getting career coaching can also access legal advice, rent a sell at our farmers market, and build their brand all in the same place, supported by the same community.

🔴 Identified Service Gaps

No Integrated Career Services

Career counseling, resume help, and job placement are fragmented or require travel to San Antonio.

No Youth Life Skills Training

10,000+ students with no local social enterprise offering structured life skills or career readiness programs.

Fragmented Business Support

Legal, branding, planning, and compliance services scattered across the region with no central hub.

Limited Affordable Workspace

No co-working spaces designed for early-stage entrepreneurs and freelancers at accessible price points.

✅ The Nexus BCC Solution

Integrated Ecosystem Model

All 15 services work together under one roof — no referrals, no fragmentation, no dead ends.

School Partnership Pipeline

Direct programs with Boerne ISD for career readiness, life skills training, and student entrepreneurship.

Market as Incubator

Our farmers market is a business incubator where first-time vendors learn operations, finance, and growth.

Diversified Sustainability

8 revenue streams ensure long-term financial resilience without dependency on any single funding source.

Featured Program

More Than a Market — A Launch Pad

Our weekend farmers market is one of our most innovative programs — and one of our most powerful engines for community transformation.

Business Incubation

First-time entrepreneurs learn real business operations — inventory management, customer service, pricing strategy, and financial tracking — in a supportive, low-risk environment.

Revenue Generation

Vendor booth fees and market sponsorships create a sustainable revenue stream that directly supports Nexus BCC's free and low-cost community services.

Growth Pipeline

Vendors who outgrow their market stalls gain access to our full business development suite — branding, legal support and more.

Community Building

Every Saturday and Sunday, the market becomes a gathering place where neighbors connect, local products thrive, and community bonds strengthen.

Youth Entrepreneurship

Student vendor programs teach young people real-world business skills — turning classroom concepts into weekend commerce and building future entrepreneurs.

Stalls to Storefronts

Our ultimate goal: help market vendors scale from a weekend booth to a permanent business — creating lasting economic impact in our community.

The farmers market is where dreams become businesses. And businesses become community anchors. Market revenue reinvests directly into scholarships, subsidized program access, and operational sustainability.
